FIP Advocates and Champions Canada is an organization dedicated to providing help, support and hope for those facing this diagnosis. Though once a completely fatal disease, there is now a highly effective treatment and cure!
In many countries around the world there is now access to regulated FIP treatment that can be prescribed by veterinarians. In some countries, the treatment must still be sourced by cat owners.
Additional resources and support are available through our international network. All are welcome to join our support group and community! We provide FIP support across Canada and have connections with a global network for FIP cats outside of Canada. We have also provided a link to the FIP Friendly Vet Website to connect cat parents with supportive veterinarians in their area.
This page is kept updated regularly on current treatment access, pharmacies providing compounded FIP treatment, availability and pricing when possible. NORTH AMERICA
Regulated FIP treatment is available through multiple compounding pharmacies in Canada and the United States.
Available antivirals:
*GS-441524 and Molnupiravir are available from compounding pharmacies in Canada and the United States
*EIDD 1931 is available from Stokes pharmacy in the US and in Canada can be imported from Bova UK via the EDR
*Paxlovid is available from human pharmacies in Canada and the USA
*Remdesivir is available in Canada by importing from Bova UK via the EDR & available from human hospitals in the USA
