FREE Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) and AGP assays

What does TDM do?

• TDM measures the plasma concentration of GS-441524 and can determine whether that concentration is within or outside (too low or too high) the likely effective therapeutic range. 

• TDM may also be used if you believe that the treatment is not progressing well or if you are considering a shorter treatment period. 

 

This FREE testing is being offered by the FIP Clinical Research Team at The Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh and The Microsampling Laboratory, LTD.

It is available internationally – you only pay for shipping via FedEx or DHL.

They also do FREE AGP assays on all TDM samples 

 

TDM and AGP testing for FIP treatment is not currently available at labs in Canada or the USA. This opportunity for vets in North America to send samples to the UK can help enhance the effectiveness of your FIP treatment protocol.

 

• TDM samples should be taken after 2-3 days of being on a particular dose 

Samples are collected at; 

1. between 3-5 hours after the last dose was administered – Peak sample 

2. between 9-11 hours after the last dose was administered – Trough sample 

Reporting time is 3 – 4 working days.
